The Fat door handle is part of a series of architectural hardware designed by the English industrial designer Tom Dixon. The handle is made of top-quality, marine-grade stainless steel, AISI 316, which withstands even high levels of corrosion.

To achieve the collection's aesthetic, Tom Dixon has enlarged the silhouette of each piece's 'normal' form. That is why the handle, key escutcheon and thumb turn all have a diameter of Ø70 mm. This means the products fit lock cases where the backset minus the rebate is at least 40 mm. The centre distance between handle and key escutcheon/thumb turn should also be at least 71 mm.

Color: Steel, Brass, Charcoal, Electric Blue
Material: Stainless steel (AISI 316)

Stock items such as handles, toilet knobs and door stops are handled immediately after ordering and are normally delivered within 1-3 working days to the nearest delivery point. The products are usually sent with DHL and a notification via SMS or email is sent with information about where and when the package can be collected.

Since 15 May 2023, d line has been taking back selected original products for refurbishment. d line repairs, replaces and brushes them so they work like new. With each Re-handle®, we save the environment up to 90% of CO2 emissions.

Low quality is a waste of resources. d line challenges you to use Re-handle® on the same product up to four times. With each Re-handle®, the 20-year product guarantee is renewed, ensuring 100 years of use. With a Re-handled product costing 60% less than a newly made one, it is easy to make the sustainable choice and reuse instead of buying new.

The service is available for all products in the shop that carry the Re-handle® logo. Read more about how it works here.
